We need a mathematician to help us calculate an logorithmic scale for a financial calculation.
The exercise premise is as follows.
- Company A produces Xm units of Widgets today and will produce Ym untis in 2016
- Products Price is ABC today and XYZ in 2016. The higher the volume the higher the price
- We need to model a formula to fine the price of Widgets for every additional unit produced. We do not want to be the scale to be linear but we want the price to increase fastter for each additional unit produced. Hence an exponential growth in the price for each addiitonal unti produced.
The exercise is to explain to us the calculation and computing it with us.
