CFD Simulation Specialist Needed
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I'm seeking a proficient freelancer with experience in CFD simulations using OpenFOAM for a floating offshore substructure.
Key Objectives:
- create a robust mesh according to the specifications provided (by me)
- Perform free decay and forced oscillation simulations (test matrix provided)
Key Expertise:
- Proven experience with CFD simulations, specifically in OpenFOAM (using interFoam solver).
- Strong background in fluid dynamics and multiphase flows.
This project requires a thorough understanding of CFD principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and present results clearly and concisely.
Starting package:
- I will provide the geometry files of the floater and initial mesh and setup files for one platform.
- I will also provide a document with details of the mesh and simulation setups required (see attached)
What you'll deliver:
- Both 2.5D and 3D simulations and results as described in the document.
- CFD setup that works without any numerical instabilities.
- Results for free decay and forced oscillation tests
