Silver Conductive Paste R&D
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m developing a next-generation silver conductive paste for solar cell metallization and advanced electronics, and I need a material scientist who lives and breathes metals to help me take the formulation from concept to lab-validated prototype.
The core challenge is maximising electrical conductivity while still meeting the practical demands of screen-printing, firing, and long-term field exposure on photovoltaic lines. You’ll evaluate candidate silver powders or flakes, optimise particle morphology and loading, fine-tune the glass frit system, and recommend the right organic vehicle so the paste prints cleanly and sinters into a low-resistivity contact. Adhesion strength and thermal stability do matter, but conductivity is the yardstick every change will be measured against.
You’ll design and run iterative experiments, document each formulation, provide sheet-resistance and contact-resistivity measurements, and outline scale-up considerations for pilot production.

• Formulation matrix with composition percentages and processing parameters
• Lab report summarising test methods, raw data, and conductivity results (Ω/□, mΩ·cm)
• A concise recommendation on the optimal recipe and next steps toward manufacturing
