Neurostimulation Electrode Design Consultant Needed

Materials Science / Bioengineering (Neurostimulation Electrodes)
We are seeking a freelance consultant with expertise in materials science, bioengineering, or neurotechnology to advise on electrode design and integration for neurostimulation applications.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and evaluate neurostimulation hardware setups from images and prototypes.
- Identify electrode materials, configurations, and system integration approaches.
- Answer technical questions related to electrode-tissue interfaces, signal delivery, and biological compatibility.
- Provide expert feedback and recommendations to improve electrode design, material selection, and usability.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with neurostimulation devices (TENS, FES, BCI systems, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrode–tissue interface mechanics and bioelectrical signal delivery.
- Background in materials for electrodes (Ag/AgCl, carbon, hydrogels, conductive polymers) and wearable/soft electronics.
- Experience with embedded or wearable neurotech is a strong plus.
