The Bins must be 100 meters long, 50cm wide & 50cm high.
The bins must have a removable floor system (broken into 3 or 5 meter floor sections) that can be removed & replaced with one another, with the insects still in the bins, and ensuring they don’t fall out or escape while you are replacing the floor. The net mesh size covering the floor section will increase in size as the insects get older, thus allowing the insect dung and waste food to fall through the net onto a tray system which must also be incorporated into the Bin design.
I’d prefer you use a combination of mild steel Round Bar, Flat Bar & Angle Iron in your design, as they are easily available in Southern Africa. You’d need to figure out a design for the floor system whereby the net can be stretched within a double sided frame system
