Project Title:
Users Outreach & Onboarding Coordinator for Tourism Platform (Pilot Programme)
Project Overview:
a new digital tourism platform designed to increase visibility and future booking opportunities for independent hotels. We are preparing for launch by running a free pilot programme and are looking for a freelancer who can help us contact hotels, introduce our platform, coordinate meetings, and support onboarding.
This role is focused solely on outreach, engagement, and coordination—there is no selling, no fees for hotels, and no commercial commitments. The goal is to help us validate supply-side adoption of the platform by onboarding a cohort of hotels.
Freelancer Responsibilities
1. Outreach & Initial Contact
Contact independent hotels across uk (email, phone, LinkedIn — templates provided).
Introduce the project pilot programme in a clear and professional manner.
Highlight that participation is free, no-obligation, and includes promotional benefits.
2. Engagement & Follow-Up
Respond to initial queries from hotel managers/owners.
Provide basic information about platform features and pilot benefits.
Keep track of outreach activity, status updates, and follow-ups using our tracking system.
3. Meeting Coordination
Arrange Zoom/Teams meetings between interested hotels and the projectbteam.
Confirm meeting times and share calendar invites.
Maintain a simple CRM-style log of communication.
4. Onboarding Support (Light)
Once a hotel confirms participation, assist with gathering basic onboarding details (hotel name, contact person, website link, images if available).
Hand over all information to the project team for final setup.
Payment Structure
This is a project-based + performance-based arrangement:
Base Payment:
Paid per engaged hotel that agrees to a meeting with the project team.
Bonus Payment:
Additional payment per hotel successfully onboarded to the pilot.
Payment terms will be agreed in advance, and hotels do not pay anything—this is not a sales role.
Ideal Freelancer Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience in outreach, lead generation, hospitality, or tourism (preferred but not required)
Confidence speaking with hotels, B&Bs, and guesthouse operators
Professional, friendly, and organised working style
Ability to track outreach efforts systematically
Ideally UK-based or familiar with Scottish tourism, but open to anyone who can operate within UK hours
Project Duration
Initial commitment: 4–8 weeks
Potential for extension if successful
Flexible hours — great for part-time freelancers
What We Provide
List of hotels to contact (or guidance on how to find them)
Platform information pack
Full training + onboarding call
Ongoing support during your outreach
Project Goal
To bring a targeted group of hotels into the free pilot programme so we can test platform adoption, improve onboarding, gather feedback, and prepare for a full commercial launch.
