Polk County Fundraising Event Organizer

I'm seeking an experienced event organizer to manage and promote community fundraising events involving corporate teams racing large Voyageur canoes in Polk County, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Promotion: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to attract attendees and donors. Help attract teams and sponsors
- Day-of Coordination: Oversee all event activities on the day of, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Training involving the Voyageur Canoes will be provided. You will not have to work alone.


Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in organizing community events, specifically fundraising.
- Strong marketing and promotional skills.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
- Local knowledge of Polk County is a plus.
- Funds go to provide inclusion for people with disabilities so interest in making a difference in lives is important.
