Looking for: Digital Art & Licensing Monetisation Strategist for Established Surface Pattern Designer
I'm looking for a series of communications via Zoom, or the like to cover the below criteria
£25 Hour if you've helped one artist develop an income
£35 Hour if you've helped several artists develop a stable income
£40 Hour if you've helped establish a 5 or 6 figure income for an artist.
(I will consider other avenues if they seem relevent).

I’ve ran my Etsy shop for over 10 years, and have a five-star rating, I have many wonderful reviews and customers, and all I want to do is to continue making my art. I have had welcome feedback from artists and business owners but struggle to see how translate my talents to the commercial world.
Now I feel that an Etsy shop is not the way for me to make a stable income, at least not the way I’ve ran it. I want to diversify into digital art and licencing.
I am always working on new art.
The Challenge: Despite a decade of experience in self-employment, including managing production with seamstresses, print houses, and manufacturers , researching the market, SEO, and advertising , and becoming proficient in costing production runs, I struggle to know how to convert my art into an income!
I need a structured, reliable strategy to scale revenue and move beyond intermittent sales.
Ultimately, I want to be able to make a salary from my Artwork, however small.
2. Scope of Work (Focus on Strategy & Scale)
The ideal freelancer will focus on reviewing our entire business model to identify niches and opportunities for consistent growth. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Financial & Pricing Analysis: Reviewing current selling opportunities, such as digital products or licencing.
• Marketing Funnel Strategy: Developing a cohesive plan for keeping my market research, SEO, keywords, and advertising up to date to continue to be able to convert to income.
• Product Diversification/Streamlining: Advising on how to find a variety of customers/income sources that are scalable, streamlined, and developed for maximum profit.
• E-commerce Expansion: Guidance on moving beyond Etsy (e.g., launching a dedicated e-commerce site perhaps) to reduce reliance on the ETSY platform, and perhaps selling to other platforms or customers that would commission work.
3. Absolute Requirement for Proof of Monetisation
I am looking for an individual who has direct, verifiable experience in scaling a creative business primarily through digital art, surface pattern design, or licensing to achieve a reliable full-time salary.
Your application MUST provide demonstrable proof, such as:
• Case Studies: Detailed reports on a business you personally scaled, showing the before and after revenue/profit metrics.
• Shop Links/Business Names: References to businesses you own or managed that clearly demonstrate successful, sustained monetisation (e.g., 5-6 figure annual revenue).
• Measurable Results: Evidence that your strategies delivered consistent income, not just traffic spikes.

• Proven expertise in scaling an Art-centric business into a stable e-commerce brand.
• Deep understanding of potential product costing, licencing options or product development.
