Hollywood Reflections Essay Collection

I'm seeking a free-lance marketing expert to help publicize "Notes From the Borderlands," a collection of essays written by me, many of them based on my decades of experience working in the film and TV industry in Los Angeles. This collection was originally published on Substack, as a series of about sixty posts I've written over the past three years. Some are anecdotal, and humorous, about my work in casting, as well as writing and directing. Some are more personal, reflecting a recent retreat from working in Hollywood due to the significant changes I've seen in casting, as well as other areas of production.

I have the book formatted and ready to be published on some of the more known self-publishing sites. I've proof-read the work several times, though I"m open to someone who might take another pass at it. In any case, whoever chooses to work on this would have to read it anyway, right?

I need someone who can take an assertive, steady marketing approach using traditional as well as digital media, and someone who already has experience marketing other books.

I have several other works of prose, most of them adaptations of the plays (and a few film scripts) that I've written and directed during my time in Los Angeles, so that I'd look forward to a long-term relationship with someone who can successfully market this first piece.
