Experienced Campaign Professional Needed
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
SEC Newgate is looking for an experienced Campaign Professional to join our team.
This opportunity is for an initial 6 month period, with potential to extend and flexibility around location (we span across all major capital cities), hybrid working arrangements and work hours (minimum 4 days/week to fulltime).
Ideally, we are seeking someone with 5+ years of experience in political, advocacy, advertising, or marketing campaigns who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments.
You will play a central part in delivering integrated communications solutions for clients—spanning strategy development, issues management, media engagement, stakeholder relations, and digital communications. You’ll work on complex and meaningful projects across a variety of sectors, collaborating with a talented team that values both creativity and precision.
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking and both strong creative and execution skills—a professional who is adaptable, analytical, collaborative, and brings a good sense of humour to their work.
Contract: 6 months (with the potential for extension)
In this role, you will:
• Lead and support the delivery of integrated campaigns across multiple sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring bold ideas to life, understand risk and deliver measurable impact.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring projects run smoothly from strategy through execution.
• Contribute to a dynamic, ideas-driven culture where strategic thinking and creativity go hand in hand.
We are looking for a high-performing campaign professional who has:
• Proven campaign experience (political, advocacy, advertising, or marketing).
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• A collaborative approach with the confidence to guide teams and clients alike.
• Agency experience a strong advantage.
Why join us?
At SEC Newgate, you’ll be part of a global strategic communications and advocacy firm where creativity, insight, and results are at the core of what we do. You’ll work on campaigns that shape conversations and drive real impact. If you feel you’d be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
