B2B Digital Marketing Trial Project
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
THE BRIEF
We are a distributor of cosmetic ingredients for personal care companies in the UK and Ireland.
As a B2B operation, much of our marketing is based on relationship management, however with less face to face contact recently we are looking to trial digital advertising to reach both our existing customers and new prospects.
OBJECTIVES
Trial the use of digital advertising to specific existing key customer accounts:
- Ensure we are reaching our existing individual customer contacts to maintain brand awareness and prompt sales enquiries
- Reach new customers within the key accounts who we may not have established a relationship with yet
CHALLENGES
- Existing contacts within our key accounts are increasingly busy, we are unable to see them face to face due to COVID restrictions and some are not responding to any of our existing communications - direct email, marketing email campaigns, webinars. Can we reach them via other digital channels?
- We have a handful of contacts within each key account, but it's a transient market and in some cases there are many contacts that we have not established a relationship with yet. Can we identify these individuals and target them via digital advertising.
CURRENT ONLINE PLATFORMS
- Company LinkedIn page
- Mailchimp (which can include landing pages)
- Vimeo Video Channel
Unfortunately our corporate website is managed centrally, therefore this platform isn't an option as a destination.
DELIVERABLES:
As part of this project we are looking for:
- Delivery of a digital plan for the trial, including recommendations of advertising channels, platforms and targeting approach
- Collaboration in planning and generating the digital content for the trial
- Execution of the plan including; campaign set up and delivery, monitoring and measurement of performance
TIMELINES
- Digital proposal to be agreed - July 2021
- Digital campaign to go live - September 2021
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE:
- Company background
- Key customers (including company names, as well as individual customers)
