E-Book Sales Manager Needed

Job ID: 39206480

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need a sales manager/salesman that can sell my ebooks.

Hi, I am looking for a sales manager to promote, market and advertise my ebooks to a good audience and bring me a great amount of sales.

Here are the terms and conditions:

1. You MUST read through all these terms and conditions. If you don't, you could potentially bear a lot of losses.

2. You must be genuinely interested in our mission.

We are an ebook brand that desires to teach people great lessons through fun and entertaining stories. But unlike most "moral stories", we tell stories that are mature. Our stories don't end in "happily ever after". They often end in a sad way. But that sadness teaches great life lessons that people often ignore. These lessons are not that popular. We don't teach lessons like "Honesty is the best policy". We instead focus on lessons like "Perspectives determine morality" or "Trust is often broken", etc.

3. You have to follow marketing with ethics. Don't spam people via emails. Don't spam at all. You can use email lists but only if people sign up for it. Plus, you should let them unsubscribe easily. You shouldn't force people. You should instead tell them why they should buy the book, what it can do for them, etc.

4. You have to keep in touch with us. Don't bid on this project if you're planning to do the job and go home. You should answer our questions. You should be responsive. You have to discuss things with the team.

5. You have to understand the job that you need to do for us.

For now, we are focusing ONLY on one ebook. The following goals are EXCLUSIVELY for this one ebook.

These are our goals: ( successive goals are inclusive of the preceding goal, that is, the 100 sales on the second day is: 50 sales of first day + 50 sales of second day)
> Hit 50 sales within 24 hours of starting.
> Hit 100 sales on the second day.
> Hit 200 sales on the third day.
> Hit 300 sales on the fourth day.
> Hit 450 sales on the fifth day.
> Hit 600 sales on the sixth day.
> Hit 800 sales on the seventh day.
> Hit 1000 sales on the eighth day.
> Hit 1250 sales on the ninth day.
> Hit 1500 sales on the tenth day.

If you hit 1500 sales, that day, you will be hired almost like a permanent sales manager. The brand CAN fire you whenever but you probably won't be fired because you did a great job and firing you would be a very stupid decision.

If you don't hit that amount ( or close to that amount ) within 10 days, then you probably will be fired soon and replaced.

6. You will make 1/4th of the total profits of the brand after taxes but we will cover Store fees and PayPal fees.

The structure is like this:
> 1/4th for the writer.
> 1/4th for the designer.
> 1/4th for the sales manager.
> 1/4th for the manager.

I'll make this easy to understand with an example.

Imagine you sell 100 books. Each book sells at $12 + taxes. That means the brand will make $1200 in total after taxes. After store fees and PayPal fees, this number will reduce a lot but we will cover those fees. That means you will make 1/4th of $1200, that is, $300.
Of that, YOU will have to manage freelancer fees and YOUR income tax. After all that, you can expect around $150-$300 depending upon your freelancer plan and your tax bracket.

In simple words, you can expect around $1.5 - $6 PER SALE.

7. You have to manage your own budgets.

You will have to pay for all sorts of marketing at your own risk. The brand will NOT cover the expenses needed for advertising, marketing etc.

That means, if you spend more than $3 per sale on a book worth $12, then you won't make any profits. Moreover, you will have to bear losses. If you are in the lowest freelancer plan and in the highest Tax bracket, then anything more than $1.2 for a single sale could end you up in debt.

Now, if you do end up in debt accidentally, then the brand could potentially cover for all losses. Perhaps, the brand might even give you a small income in order to take care of yourself and to cover loss of time . But this may NOT be the case all the time. The brand WILL take maximum efforts to provide you with money in case of losses. But this is NOT guaranteed.

8. In order to ensure that you are a good fit for the brand, we will have to go through a trial phase.

If you are okay will all the terms mentioned above, then and ONLY then, you can bid on this job.

If you are a good candidate, then we will message you asking you to bring us 50 sales within 24 hours. If you can achieve that goal, then we will hire you. If you can't achieve this goal ( or close to this goal ), then you won't be hired. Moreover, you won't make money on the profits that you brought to the brand. This is because we may go in debt due to the fees we have to cover in order to pay you.

9. If you are okay with everything mentioned above, then and ONLY then, you can bid on this job. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know of either good or bad news.

You should start bringing in sales ONLY when we tell you to start working via Freelancer messaging. If we don't contact you, then you should NOT start working for us. Please wait until we contact you.
