Zimbabwe Gold Mining Consultancy Needed

Job ID: 40553718

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I plan to launch a gold-mining venture in Zimbabwe but am starting from a blank slate. Before committing capital or securing equipment, I need a seasoned consultant who can give me a clear picture of the market and show me exactly what it will take to enter the sector legally and profitably.

The core of the engagement is a detailed market analysis that drills into current gold pricing, historical volatility, cost structures, and realistic profit margins for an operator of my size. I also need guidance on Zimbabwe’s licensing and permit process—time-lines, fees, compliance checkpoints, and any recent policy shifts released by the Ministry of Mines.

Deliverables
• A concise, data-driven report (PDF + editable spreadsheet) covering gold demand/supply trends, local refinery fees, export premiums, and pricing scenarios over the next 12-24 months.
• Breakdown of initial and recurring costs, projected cash-flow, and ROI sensitivities at different production scales.
• Step-by-step checklist for obtaining the required mining lease, EPO, and environmental certificates, with links to official forms and contacts.
• 60-minute live call to walk through the findings and answer follow-up questions.

Acceptance criteria
The report must reference verifiable sources (e.g., Fidelity Gold data, LBMA/COMEX price charts) and include at least two recent case studies of small-to-mid-scale Zimbabwean miners.

If you have on-the-ground experience in Zimbabwe, knowledge of GIS / geological survey data, or existing contacts at the Ministry of Mines, that will be a major plus.
