Tech Competitor Insights

Job ID: 37794847

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

First, if you bid on this project and I accept your price, that is the budget. Don't ask for more money after unless I attempt to change the scope of work.
Second, DO NOT ask me to pay you outside of Freelancer. We found eachother here and it's only fair to pay them for their part in this partnership. Not to mention the protections built in for each of us.

If you agree with the above, please read further below.

I'm seeking an expert to conduct a detailed market research focusing precisely on competitor pricing strategies within the technology industry. The primary goal is to gain insights into how our competitors are pricing their products and services, enabling us to refine our own pricing models for competitiveness and profitability.

I'm mainly concerned with finding out the hourly pricing of my local IT/MSP competitors. It should be as easy as a phone call pretending to be a client and wanting to know their prices before hiring. Maybe a follow up call to some. Would like to call on roughly 20 competitors.

### Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in market research and analysis
- Experience in the technology sector
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and synthesize data into actionable strategies
- Expertise in preparing comprehensive, detailed reports

### Project Requirements:
1. **Competitor Analysis:** Identify key competitors in the technology sector and analyze their pricing strategies.
2. **Pricing Insights:** Provide insights into any observed patterns or trends in competitor pricing, including discounts, bundling, and premium pricing strategies.
3. **Detailed Report:** Present the findings in a detailed report, including methodology, data analysis, and conclusions. The report should be well-organized, easy to read, and include any relevant data visualizations to support the findings.

I believe this analysis will be crucial for our strategy moving forward, helping us to position ourselves more effectively in the market. I'm looking for someone who not only has the technical skills but also a deep understanding of the technology sector's dynamics and competitive landscape.
