Short market survey

I need to find a smart light bulb that can programatically change colors, similar to the LiFX or Philips Hue, but does not have a setup process that requires that you go through an app. Most setup processes today require the user to connect via a smart phone app. I want to be able to flash the onboard hardware and program the lamp myself, and thus hardcode the different variables in the lamp. Anser with spidermonkey in the subject line please. My goal is to place an order for the end product naturally. Applications for this project must submit at least one viable suggestion in their application to be considered.
