International Export Plan Development

You are tasked with develop an international export plan which identifies alternative national perspectives.
You will choose appropriate theoretical frameworks and concepts integrating interdisciplinary knowledge
and approaches. It will require research skills and critical evaluation of a complex issue and incorporate
recommendations for problem resolution/ alternative trend scenarios.
Using the ground work you will prepare an individual export plan for
country you have selected the business should start their new operations in addressing the following
areas:
• Assessment of the risks involved through locating in the selected country, using the market selection
methodology of your choice;
• Evaluation of the differences in culture between the home country and the selected country;
• Procedures and regulation for setting up a business in that country i.e. financial, people practices,
business format;
• An assessment of the potential market of the selected location; and
• How to penetrate that market with either existing or adapted products / services.
