I’m setting up a hydration-drink plant in Andhra Pradesh and have reached the concept stage, so every element of the recipe is still flexible. My immediate priority is flavor development that will translate into a market-ready isotonic or electrolyte beverage suited to the Indian palate and climate.
Here’s what I need:
• A core formulation with a clear flavour matrix, sweetness profile and mouthfeel targets.
• Lab-ready recipes scaled for pilot batches (5–10 L) that can be transferred to commercial volumes without losing taste or stability.
• Guidance on processing parameters—pH, Brix and mineral balance—to meet FSSAI standards for sports and electrolyte drinks.
• A concise R&D roadmap outlining how we can iterate on variants (e.g., sugar-free, low-calorie, seasonal flavours) once the first SKU is proven.
