Expert in Sourcing Potential Suppliers, In Ethiopia

I'm in need of a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of sourcing and procurement to assist me in identifying potential suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify potential suppliers that meet our needs
- Research and evaluate supplier options based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to ensure that the supplier's capabilities align with our needs
- Actively seek new suppliers, and maintain relationships with current suppliers
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and compliance to company requirements
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Provide input to the development of supplier performance metrics and measurement tools
- Resolve issues and disputes with suppliers

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in identifying potential suppliers
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and applications
- Strong understanding of supply chain management
- Previous experience in sourcing for the retail, manufacturing, or construction industries is a plus.
