Consulting: Launch UAE GCC Cybersecurity
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I am in the testing/deployment phase of a proprietary fraud-detection solution and I want to turn it into a fully fledged cybersecurity startup that operates legally and competitively across the UAE and wider GCC.
The immediate need is expert, hands-on guidance that translates my technical progress into a viable business: company formation, licensing, data-privacy and banking regulations (Central Bank UAE, ADGM/DIFC, SAMA, etc.), market positioning, go-to-market strategy, and investor-ready financial projections. Although the initial product is centred on fraud detection, I may later branch into complementary offerings such as transaction monitoring or identity verification, so your advice should keep potential expansion in mind.
Please be ready to:
• Map out all regulatory steps from incorporation to commercial licensing in each relevant jurisdiction.
• Benchmark the current fraud-detection landscape and identify realistic market entry points.
• Recommend partnership and distribution channels—especially banks, fintech hubs, and government-backed programs.
• Deliver a phased launch roadmap with timelines, key milestones, and risk mitigation measures.
Prior GCC experience in cybersecurity or fintech is essential; knowledge of regional data-residency rules, cloud-hosting restrictions, and local procurement processes will make your input immediately actionable.
