Alibaba Sourcing & Supplier Communication Expert

Description: I’m seeking an experienced sourcing professional fluent in Chinese to handle supplier communications and sourcing for various products, primarily water pipes and CNC metal components. Your main role will be to translate my detailed product requirements into actionable supplier interactions. You should be able to return with fully vetted supplier options who can meet specified order quantities, quality standards, and are prepared to produce samples.
Responsibilities:
Communicate my detailed product requirements to suppliers on Alibaba and elsewhere in China.
Find and vet suppliers who meet my criteria, ensuring quality and reliability over cost or speed.
Verify that suppliers can handle my specified order quantities, meet quality requirements, and produce samples.
Negotiate prices and terms, working persistently to ensure the supplier fully understands and agrees to my specifications.
Provide me with supplier options that are ready to start production or sample creation without further intervention.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in product sourcing, ideally with a focus on water pipes, CNC metal components, or similar products.
Fluency in Chinese and a strong understanding of Chinese business practices and culture.
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and quality control management.
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure complete understanding of specifications.
Ideal Rate: I understand the value of quality communication and sourcing expertise. While I am aiming for cost-effectiveness, I am open to rates that reflect experience and efficiency in finding the right suppliers.
