Objective
The objective of this mandate is to simplify, optimize, and standardize the existing Moodulo module plans. The goal is to make them directly ready for outsourcing (cutting and drilling), facilitate larger-scale production, and simplify assembly, all while increasing strength and structural consistency.
Context
Moodulo products are based on a common modular architecture comprising structural modules, flooring, reinforcements, tables, and chairs. These elements, shared across multiple products, must be streamlined and documented.
Deliverables
The mandate includes:
2D/3D manufacturing plans ready for outsourcing.
A complete Bill of Materials (BOM) listing parts and required hardware, including quantities and, where possible, costs and weights.
Clear assembly plans usable in the workshop and by the end customer.
Requirements & Proposal
Site Visit: A visit to the prototype located in Chertsey is desirable to fully understand real-world constraints and maximize optimization opportunities.
References: The bidder must provide references for three (3) similar projects (e.g., industrial design, standardization, or design for manufacturing) to demonstrate relevant expertise.
Pricing & Timeline: The bidder must propose a flat rate per deliverable, as well as a delivery timeline for each, prioritizing the earliest possible deadlines.
