Glossy Blue Boat Paint
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need my boat refinished in a rich, uniform blue with a high-gloss shine. I am not looking for any stripes, graphics, or other patterns—just a flawless, mirror-like coat that shows off the hull’s lines.
The job covers everything from surface preparation through final polishing:
• Prep: clean, sand, and fill as necessary so the surface is perfectly smooth
• Prime: apply an appropriate marine primer to ensure adhesion and durability
• Paint: spray or roll a premium marine-grade blue paint in multiple thin coats, allowing adequate cure time between coats
• Finish: buff or polish to achieve that deep, showroom gloss
Please bring your own tools and materials and be ready to work dockside. Photographs of each stage—prep, priming, first coat, and final finish—will serve as acceptance criteria once we do a walk-around inspection together. I have the paint, rollers, and brushes. Just need an able body.
