Fiberglass Deck & Cabin Build

Job ID: 40510221

Budget: $100 – $600 USD

Our yard is midway through finishing several fiberglass hulls and the next push is deck and cabin construction. I need builders who can laminate, fair, and fit out fiberglass modules quickly and accurately while maintaining clean lines and tidy joins.

Proven, hands-on experience doing this kind of work on working boats or cruisers is what I will weigh most heavily, so please highlight past projects that show your personal contribution and time-frames rather than sending a long proposal.

Extra skills that make the job smoother—such as aluminum welding for brackets, hard-tops or rails, and solid woodworking for trim and cabinetry—are a real plus, although the core deliverable remains fiberglass deck and cabin fabrication and installation. If you have ideas drawn from wooden boat practice that could improve the fit-out, feel free to mention them.

Work will be staged: rough-in and lamination, structural tie-in to the hull, fairing, then hardware cut-outs and final finish. I supply all major materials and drawings; you supply skill, tools, and pride in workmanship. Hit me with your experience, availability, and earliest start date so we can lock in the schedule.
