Fiberglass Boat Builder Needed

Job ID: 40510227

Budget: $100 – $650 USD

I’m setting up a small production line in Chattogram, Bangladesh and need a seasoned hand who can turn rolls of fiberglass and buckets of resin into sleek, water-ready craft. Your day-to-day focus will be the full laminate cycle—molding, shaping, fairing, then carrying the hull straight through to a polished, painted finish. Once the shell is perfect, I’ll rely on your interior-fitting know-how to install bulkheads, lockers, seating and other joinery details to yacht-grade standards.

If you have built or repaired wooden boats before, that background will be an advantage when we fit out bright-finished trim, but it isn’t a strict requirement. What is essential is deep, hands-on experience in fiberglass lay-up, surface preparation, marine paint systems and precision interior carpentry.

The work is onsite. You must already live in Bangladesh or be ready to relocate here quickly; I can help arrange local accommodation and workspace access. This is a full-time engagement with several hulls scheduled, so reliability and pride in craftsmanship matter as much as technical skill.

Deliverables I will sign off on:
• A fully molded and faired hull and deck that meets our weight and thickness targets
• High-gloss exterior paint free from print-through or orange peel
• Complete interior joinery installed square, flush and ready for hardware

Send photos of past fiberglass builds—especially before/after shots of molding and finishing—along with a short note on the tools and resins you prefer. Let’s launch some beautiful boats together.
