Engine Canal Boat

The oil lamp on the dashboard turns red as soon as I turn on the engine and makes a beeping sound. I moved the boat totally fine as soon as a week ago but now I'm too afraid to move it again until the problem is sorted. It suddenly happened one night I was gonna charge the batteries. I checked the oil levels and they seem fine so I don't know what the problem could be.
