Civil Engineer for Oil Cargo Jetty

Job ID: 40411590

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I need an experienced marine civil engineer based in India to work with me on the complete design and construction planning of a jetty dedicated to handling oil and other petroleum products. The facility will operate as a liquid-cargo terminal, so the design must integrate safe transfer systems, fire-fighting provisions, environmental safeguards, and efficient berthing arrangements for tankers.

Your role starts with site assessment and preliminary layout, then moves through detailed structural and MEP drawings, materials specification, and construction sequencing. Indian standards (IS codes) should guide the structural design, while OCIMF and relevant international guidelines must be reflected in the loading arms, pipelines, and safety systems.

Deliverables I expect:
• Concept and feasibility report with basic drawings
• Full set of certified design drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) ready for authority submission
• Bill of quantities and technical specifications
• Construction methodology and phased schedule aligned to local conditions
• Risk assessment covering marine, environmental, and operational safety

I will make myself available for continuous clarifications and can share hydrographic and geotechnical data on request. Let me know your similar past projects with oil jetties or other liquid bulk terminals, preferred design tools (STAAD, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.), and an estimated timeline to reach each milestone.
