Caribbean Flood Prevention Coastal Engineers
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need two experienced coastal engineers to join my team on an upcoming flood-prevention project in the Caribbean. The work will be carried out on-site, so you must be ready and able to travel for the duration of the assignment.
Your background should demonstrate solid, hands-on experience in shoreline protection and marine construction. You will be asked to inspect the existing coastline, design and refine practical defence measures, and remain on location to supervise implementation. All permits and stakeholder arrangements are already in place, so you can focus purely on the technical aspects without the extra layer of local-authority liaison.
Key deliverables
• A concise site-assessment report highlighting existing vulnerabilities and recommended shoreline-protection techniques.
• Detailed construction drawings, material schedules, and quantities that address wave action, storm surge and future sea-level rise.
• Daily progress logs and a final completion dossier signed off by our internal project manager.
Acceptance criteria
The designs must meet the stated flood-prevention performance targets and be constructible with materials available in the region. On-site supervision is considered complete once the physical works reach practical completion and all documentation is delivered.
