Boat Engine Repair and Walkthrough
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
The primary areas I need to address:
- Do a post-transport walkthrough and check that hoses, clamps, wiring, batteries, and visible engine-room/bilge connections are properly secured after the long trip.
- Replace the contact block behind the marine push-button panel for the aft/engine-room hatch button. I’ve ordered the parts and they should arrive on 5/25.
- Diagnose and repair a few speaker/audio cable connections.
- Fiberglass the anchor hatch/chute crack and fix the windlass/chain mechanism. It seems to slip when deploying/retrieving and does not always bite properly.
