ERPNext Laboratory Module Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced Frappe/ERPNext developer to build a dedicated laboratory-management module for my current ERPNext installation. The goal is to handle sample intake, testing workflows, results approval, and inventory usage while also letting me monitor budgets and run simple forecasting on consumables and costs.
You will create a standalone app that plugs cleanly into ERPNext, defining all necessary DocTypes, role-based permissions, and custom reports. Budgeting and Forecasting should be woven into the module so that each lab project or test batch shows projected versus actual spend and upcoming resource requirements.
Core tech will be the usual stack—Python, Frappe framework, ERPNext API hooks, MariaDB, and a little client-side JavaScript where it improves the UI. I already have a staging server; push your work there via Git so we can review it together.
Deliverables
• Installable Frappe app with all doctypes, scripts, and page builders
• Budgeting & Forecasting logic tied to lab projects and items
• Two custom reports (budget variance, consumption forecast)
• Basic test suite plus setup/seed data so I can demo instantly
I’ll consider the job complete once the app installs without errors on my production site, all listed features work as described, and the reports match sample data. If you’ve built similar ERPNext modules before, please mention them when you reply.
