I have a physical consumer-goods product that is already sitting at a working prototype stage. What I need now is the expertise to turn that promising model into a manufacturing-ready design and help me map out its path to market.
The core objectives are to fine-tune the current prototype, validate materials and ergonomics for everyday use, and prepare complete production documentation. Key deliverables
• Updated design files (CAD or equivalent) ready for tooling
• Bill of Materials with sourcing options and indicative costs
• DFM / DFA review highlighting any risk areas before mass production
• Packaging concept that aligns with typical consumer-goods shelf presence
• Clear manufacturing roadmap with recommended suppliers, lead times, and next milestones
I’ll consider the assignment successful once the design is manufacturable without costly rework, unit costs are within our targets, and the documentation package is complete enough for a factory to quote and launch a pilot run.
