Project Objective
The designer will develop a functional, manufacturable and production-ready KeepItManly bag with an integrated or removable attachment system
Role
- Develop the bag concept and attachment mechanism, design options will you provide before finalising one concept
-Design bag and attachment, to assembled, secured and reinforced so that they do not detach, tear or become unbalanced during use
- What materials, hardware, stitching methods and manufacturing processes do you recommend for durability, comfort and controlled production cost?
-What technical deliverables will you provide, including final sketches, 2D drawings, dimensions, patterns, Bill of Materials and assembly instructions?
- Which parts will require outsourcing, custom manufacturing, moulds or external engineering, and what additional costs or risks could these create?
- How will you test, revise and optimise the prototype before providing the final production-ready package and manufacturing recommendations?
Concept Design and Mechanism Options
Deliverables: What concept sketches, attachment-mechanism options, material suggestions and design recommendations will you provide in this milestone?
