Description:
We are launching a premium private-label lipstick brand manufactured in India, selling in India and internationally. Brand identity and company setup are already complete. We need an experienced consultant to run the manufacturing and launch-readiness side. Brand details will be shared with the selected candidate under NDA.
Scope of work:
Shortlist and vet 5–8 licensed third-party lipstick manufacturers (Mumbai/Gujarat/Baddi preferred) manufacturing licence, GMP, MOQs, premium casing capability (weighted bullet, magnetic closure, engraving), willingness to share formula/INCI under NDA
Manage quotes (100/500/1000 units) and sample rounds in a structured comparison
Support shade and component finalisation, negotiate final per-unit pricing and terms
Ensure Legal Metrology-compliant labelling and collect formula documentation needed for international compliance
Guide artwork handoff, first-run QC checklist, and dispatch readiness for Amazon FBA
Deliverables: manufacturer comparison sheet, negotiated final quote, compliance document folder, launch checklist
Required experience:
Hands-on private-label cosmetics/personal care launches in India (name at least one product/brand you've handled in your bid)
Knowledge of the Indian third-party manufacturing landscape and Legal Metrology
Familiarity with Amazon.in beauty onboarding
Bonus: EU/UK cosmetics compliance exposure (CPSR)
English + Hindi; Mumbai-based a plus (factory visits)
In your bid: one beauty product you've taken from sourcing to launch, manufacturers/regions you've worked with, and your availability.
Budget: fixed, milestone-based (shortlist → samples → final quote & compliance → launch checklist). Factory costs, samples, and fees paid by us directly.
Duration: 6–8 weeks, part-time. Potential ongoing role as the product line grows.
