Part-time Health & Safety Consultant Needed
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am in need of a part-time, one day a week Health and Safety Consultant based in Oxfordshire to visit us weekly at our factory in Watlington. This role is critical to our manufacturing business. The consultant will be responsible for:
- Conducting safety audits: Regularly inspecting our manufacturing facility to ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to and identifying any potential hazards.
- Providing training sessions: Teaching our staff about health and safety procedures and ensuring they are aware of all necessary protocols.
- Updating safety policies: Keeping our safety policies up-to-date in line with current legislation and industry standards.
- visiting on occasion our garden Center show rooms, clients or consumer shows to carry out RAMS
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, with prior experience in the manufacturing industry being highly beneficial. They should have a proven track record of conducting safety audits and providing effective training sessions, alongside a comprehensive understanding of health and safety legislation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others are key, as this consultant will be working closely with our team to ensure a safe working environment.
