Manufacturing Cost Estimate Specialist
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need an experienced construction estimator to prepare a full bid package for an upcoming manufacturing project. The scope centres on three cost pillars—material, labour, and overhead—so the final numbers must break each of those down in detail and then roll them up into a clear total project cost.
You’ll receive the drawings, equipment specs, and production layout as soon as we start. From there, I’m expecting you to:
• Analyse the documents and flag any missing information upfront
• Build a line-item estimate covering raw materials, direct labour (with crew productivity rates), and all applicable overhead
• Highlight assumptions and unit rates so the model can be updated easily for future revisions
I’m comfortable with you working in Microsoft Excel, CostX, or another professional estimating tool—just let me know which one you prefer. Accuracy and transparency are critical because this estimate will feed directly into our board-level capex approval, so please factor in a brief review call before final hand-off.
