KiCad 9 PCB Corrections

Job ID: 39862110

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have an existing KiCad 9 design for a small 45 mm × 45 mm board carrying four ICs. In the schematic two minor changes were made and the footprint of Berg Pin header changed from 2.00mm to 2.54mm. After these correction, and running 'update PCB from Schematic', the project now trips DRC: clearances no longer meet spec, several traces are squeezed or broken, and a couple of nets were mis-routed.

Your task is to open the project in KiCad 9, clean up every routing issue, and adjust any affected footprints. If shifting parts or enlarging the outline slightly is the cleanest way to meet the rules, go ahead—I’m fine with a modest size increase as long as the board remains compact and everything ends up manufacturable.

Acceptance criteria
• All design-rule violations cleared, including those caused by the new Pin header connector pitch
• Footprints updated where needed so pads, drill sizes, and courtyard clearances are correct
• Final .kicad_pcb, schematic (if touched), and production Gerber/Drill set that passes KiCad DRC with standard JLCPCB settings

That’s it—quick, focused, and should be straightforward for an experienced KiCad user.
