Detailed Project Report
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Requirement: Detailed Project Report (DPR) Consultant
1-Project Overview
We propose to set up a Slag Crushing, Iron Recovery & Manufactured Aggregate (MAC) Production Plant in Western Odisha (Jharsuguda / Rengali / Sundargarh belt).
The plant will process steel plant slag to recover ferrous metal (iron scrap) using magnetic separation, and convert the balance material into slag aggregates and slag MAC (manufactured sand) for construction and infrastructure applications.
The project is designed as an MSME-scale industrial unit with scope for future expansion.
⸻
2-Proposed Capacity & Configuration
• Processing capacity:
• Phase-1: 100 TPD raw slag processing
• Provision for expansion to 200 TPD
• Product mix (indicative):
• Iron scrap recovery: ~8–12%
• Coarse slag aggregates (10–40 mm)
• Slag MAC / slag sand (0–4.75 mm) using VSI crusher
• Key equipment:
• Jaw / impact / cone crusher
• Magnetic separators (overband + drum)
• Screens & conveyors
• VSI crusher for MAC production
• Dust suppression system
• Weighbridge and utilities
⸻
3-Raw Material & Market
• Raw material: Steel slag sourced from:
• Integrated steel plants
• Induction furnace (IF) units
• Sponge iron / steel melting shops in Jharsuguda–Rengali–Sundargarh industrial cluster
• Products & customers:
• Iron scrap → steel rerolling mills / IF units
• Slag aggregates → road contractors, embankment works
• Slag MAC → paver block manufacturers, infrastructure contractors
⸻
4-Location & Land
• Preferred locations:
• Plot near Rengali
• Industrial areas in Sundargarh / Jharsuguda district
• Land requirement: ~2.0–3.0 acres
• Location selection to be supported with raw-material logistics and market access analysis
⸻
5-DPR SCOPE REQUIRED
The consultant/freelancer should prepare a comprehensive, bank-ready DPR covering:
Technical Section
• Process flow diagram
• Plant layout & machinery selection
• Capacity justification
• Utility requirements (power, water)
• Pollution control & environmental compliance
Financial Section
• Capital cost breakup (land, plant & machinery, civil, pre-operative)
• Unit economics (with and without MAC)
• Operating cost analysis
• Revenue projections
• Break-even analysis
• IRR, NPV, DSCR, ROI
• Sensitivity analysis
Regulatory & Compliance
• MSME registration
• Pollution Control Board (CTE/CTO)
• Factory Act compliance
• Applicable state/central subsidies & schemes
Lending & Subsidy Readiness
• Format suitable for bank loan / NBFC financing
• Eligibility under PMEGP / MSME / state industrial policies
• Risk analysis & mitigation plan
⸻
6-Expected Deliverables
• Editable Word + Excel DPR
• Financial model with assumptions
• Summary PPT (optional but preferred)
• Timeline & implementation schedule
⸻
7-Consultant Profile Preferred
• Experience in mineral processing / crusher / steel by-product projects
• Prior DPRs for banks or government subsidy schemes
• Familiarity with Indian MSME & pollution norms
• Ability to customize report for Odisha
Note: Only Experienced people quote for this. We will see the past work as well
