Custom Foam Inserts for DJI Drones
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for a skilled craftsman to design and create foam inserts for my consumer DJI drones. The inserts should fit the following models:
- DJI Neo 1 and 2
- DJI Mavic 3,4
- DJI Avata 2
- DJI Air 3 , 3s
- DJI Mini 3, 4 pro and 5 pro
(FLY MORE COMBOS)
These foam inserts need to provide shock resistance to protect the drones during transport each foam is cnc cut.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with custom foam cutting and design
- Familiarity with DJI drones and their dimensions
- Ability to create shock-resistant, durable foam solutions
- Attention to detail and precision in manufacturing
each series has a cutout that you can remove to fit the larger drones of the series, same with the controllers, the avata is full fpv kit, each insert should hold the fly more combos, you can research each drone fly more kit and see what controllers you can get and needs to fit all controllers with remove able/adaptable foam, the drone will be on the left, nd filters above, controller bootm right and battery packs and accessories section (box) too above the controller.
The foam size is 538 x 408 x 220 mm, need full 3d design with the depths all correct, the foam needs to fit the shape of the drones, not just a box, i have all square dimensions but dont have shape dimensions.
Please include samples of previous work, especially any related to custom inserts or protective gear.
