DFM Expert for Wearables

I need a China-based Design for Manufacturing specialist who can dive straight into our thermoplastic wearable-gadget line and push manufacturing efficiency to the next level. Your day-to-day work will center on injection-molded parts and final assembly, reviewing every CAD file and sample coming from our design team in India, then translating that intent—clearly, in Mandarin—to our factory engineers.
You will flag tolerance risks, resin flow or warp issues, and assembly bottlenecks before they hit the line, then propose pragmatic fixes the factory can adopt without derailing timelines. Because our priority is efficiency, I’m looking for measurable cycle-time reductions, tooling simplifications, and smoother line layouts that preserve product reliability and cosmetics.
The schedule is intensive—about 100 hours a month—so quick response loops and hands-on factory presence are essential. Fluency in Mandarin plus solid working English is mandatory for seamless calls and report writing.
