ANSYS Superplastic Forming Simulation

Job ID: 40531506

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need an ANSYS specialist who can model and analyse a superplastic-forming operation for material research purposes. The work sits more in the manufacturing-engineering corner than in classical structural or CFD studies, so I’m looking for someone comfortable setting up forming simulations, defining appropriate constitutive laws for superplastic alloys, and extracting the data that will let me compare predicted thinning, strain-rate sensitivity and final part geometry against lab results.

Here’s what I’m expecting from the collaboration:
• A complete ANSYS Workbench (or APDL) setup that reproduces the forming cycle I’ll specify – tooling, temperature profile, pressure ramp, boundary conditions, friction, etc.
• Iterative runs as we fine-tune material parameters; I will supply test data, you fit or implement the flow-stress model.
• A concise report with contour plots, time-history graphs and your observations on thickness distribution, potential failure zones and any optimisation insights you spot.

If you have previous superplastic-forming or hot-forming projects on record, please mention them along with the ANSYS version you plan to use. I can start sharing geometry files as soon as we agree on a workflow and timeline.
