Weekly KiCad Mentoring Help

I’m a hobbyist juggling a few small electronic ideas and I’d like a patient KiCad expert to coach me for about an hour each week. My immediate challenges are schematic capture and translating those schematics into clean, manufacturable PCB layouts. Every board I’m building relies on surface-mount components, so the guidance has to cover footprint selection, placement strategy, fine-pitch routing techniques, and any SMD-specific design for manufacture tips.

The format is simple: we jump on a live call on secured video chat, share screens, and walk through my current project inside KiCad 7 or later. By the end of each session I want to understand not just what buttons to press but why each decision matters.

Per session deliverables
• A focused 60-minute interactive call
• Any example KiCad files or libraries created or modified together
• A concise recap of key steps and shortcuts covered, so I can review afterward
