SolidWorks Sheet-Metal Design for Outdoor Self-Service Kiosk
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
I am looking for an experienced SolidWorks sheet-metal designer who has real practical experience with manufacturing sheet-metal products, not only creating attractive 3D renders.
The main requirement is that the design must be realistic, easy to manufacture, and ready for real production. I had a previous project where the 3D design looked very good, but in the end it was almost impossible to manufacture properly. I want to avoid that problem this time.
The product must be built from sheet metal, suitable for outdoor use, strong, safe, modern, and professional-looking. It must not look outdated or like a 1990s-style product. The design should be clean, modern, and suitable for commercial/public use.
Available production equipment:
Fiber laser for sheet-metal cutting
Fiber laser for tube/profile cutting
CO₂ laser for plexiglass/acrylic parts
150 cm electro-hydraulic press brake
Punch and die tooling as shown in the attached photo
Material and production details:
Main material: 1.2 mm carbon steel sheet
K-factor: 0.37
Bend radius: 1.3 mm
Tube/profile reinforcement can be used where needed, for example 30 mm × 10 mm profiles
The final design must include a proper SolidWorks sheet-metal model, realistic bends, manufacturable parts, and production-ready files. The design should not only look good in 3D, but must also be practical to cut, bend, assemble, and finish using my available equipment.

Before starting the full design, I would like to see an initial concept so I can confirm the direction, layout, and appearance. After approval, the full production-ready SolidWorks sheet-metal package can be prepared.
