Find a manufacturer for battery operated intelligent thermostatic valve actuator
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to find a few manufacturers of field proven (i.e. having been in full production and use for over 3 years) TRV actuator manufacturer. I'm mostly interested in the electromechanical part, especially if the outer shell that defines the look can be changed.
Here are some other specs
- Buying volume 10-50 kpcs in 2023
- Target price $6 for mechanics, motor, battery compartment, i.e. excluding electronics, packaging, batteries)
- Should fit or have adapters for valves with M26, M28 and M30 threads
- Must be able to be fitted with our own electronics (initial electronics mfg and actuator assembly in Europe)
- We're interested in buying complete products with our own electronics design, so manufacturer must offer connection to their own engineering for production start and ramp-up.
- Low motor energy consumption (i.e. stepper motor is no good, we need a relatively good DC motor with <20mA@3V no-load consumption)
- Must have feedback element from motor/gears to have backlash elimination
- Samples must be available for reasonable cost (can include existing electronics)
- Actuator parts (mechanics, motor) must have been in full production and operation with low return rate for at least 3 years.
- No display needed (but there can be)
- No switches needed as this will be fully radio controlled
