Project Summary
I’m creating a short, four-page manga titled “Bound by the Blade” as a heartfelt engagement gift. The story should feel as though it could exist seamlessly within the Demon Slayer universe — atmospheric, emotionally charged, and driven by the rhythm of sword and soul. Every swing, spark, and breath should carry emotional weight; it’s not about spectacle alone but the love, loss, and resolve behind each motion.

Core Cast

Benoit — A passion-driven swordsman modelled after Tanjiro Kamado. His heart burns with devotion and grief, his sword technique a blend of precision and emotion.
Ana — His demon-afflicted girlfriend(fiancée), inspired by Nezuko’s quiet strength. She fights her monstrous side with fierce willpower and a desire to protect her boyfriend.

Together, they battle not only demons but the curse that threatens to separate them forever.

Story Goals

Length: 4 pages

Opening: Begin in media res — mid-battle against a powerful demon.

Tone: Intense, emotional, cinematic; a balance of fierce action and heartfelt intimacy.

Ending: A hook that teases future chapters — leave readers breathless and wanting more.

Page 1 — The Moonlit Forest
Setting: Dense forest glowing under a full moon. Mist weaves between trees.
Panels:
1. (Wide shot) Benoit walks with determination down a forest path, his sword at his side. The wooden box on his back trembles slightly.

2. (Close-up) Benoit senses something — the rustle of leaves, a chill in the air.
o Benoit (thinking): “This aura… it’s powerful.”
