I’m looking for a skilled manga artist to collaborate on adapting my original light novel Chainbreaker: Aruto Ramazawa into a serialized dark fantasy manga.
Story Overview:
Cursed at birth by nine gods, Aruto Ramazawa grows up shunned and bound by invisible chains that suppress his true power. Every crack in the seal brings unbearable pain, untamed magic, and whispers from a fallen god. Fueled by loss and rage, Aruto vows to break his chains, confront gods and demons, and build an empire strong enough to challenge the heavens.
Tone & themes: epic, cinematic, emotional, with a balance of martial arts combat, dark fantasy, and heavy atmosphere.
Art Style Requirements:
• Traditional manga style (right-to-left, screentones, black & white).
• Covers & posters in full color.
• Influences: Berserk, Jujutsu Kaisen, Solo Leveling, Vinland Saga, Attack on Titan.
• Dynamic fight scenes (martial arts + sword + magic).
• Emotional, expressive character panels.
• Ability to design fantasy clans, monsters, demons, and unique gods (references + databook will be provided).

• Start with a 22–30 page pilot chapter (Chapter 1: Chains in the Rain).
• First step: 2–3 test storyboard pages (rough sketches only, no full inks) to check alignment and style.
• Total planned: ~14 volumes (long-term project).

• Payment structure negotiable (per page, per batch, or per chapter).

• Experience in sequential storytelling.
• Strong linework, shading, and panel composition.
