Cylinder hydrostatic requalification
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have N2 cylinder and my organisation adopt the NFPA standard, and according NFPA 10 n2 cylinder can be permitted to be hydrotsted every 10 if the cylinder comply with the CFR 49 part 180,209 (b)
According to the CFR 49 part 180,209 (b) the cylinder should have a requlification date , but CFR 49 part 180,209 (b) doesn’t mention that we have to get a DOT license, but the CFR mentioned that to do a requlaification date for the cylinder you have to get a license by the DOT in other paragraph , that’s mentioned in paragraph 49 CFR 180,205
So the question is : if my organisation comply with only CFR 49 180,209 (b) does this make my organisation comply with the NFPA 10 regarding the hydrotest for the n2 cylinders even though we don’t have a DOT license ?
Note : my organisation doesn’t operate in the untied states
