Professional Malay Writer Needed
Budget: $14 – $30 NZD
I need an experienced, native-level Malay translator to turn my source documents into clear, accurate Bahasa Melayu. The jobs arrive in batches—articles, letters, light technical guides, marketing copy—so versatility and an ear for tone matter as much as grammar.
Most files come to me in English, yet I occasionally receive Chinese or Spanish texts as well, so the more language pairs you can comfortably handle, the better. For each assignment I will supply the original file, a brief style guide, and any reference terminology; you return the Malay version with the layout preserved, fully proof-read and ready for publication.
Quality is paramount: idiomatic phrasing, consistent terminology, zero spelling or punctuation slips. If you work with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, memoQ, or Wordfast, please mention that—though I’m happy to collaborate in Word or Google Docs when necessary. Let me know your daily word-count capacity and any specialist fields you’re strongest in so I can match you to the right batches.
The first task is a short, ~1,000-word sample; prompt delivery and polish there will lead to a steady flow of larger projects. I look forward to teaming up on reliable, on-going Malay translation work.
