MailChimp API Integration Buildout

Our company has a Virtual Event platform that allows users to create what we call dashboards for their attendees. The attendees for the events are brought in through our API, and we're looking to build out our MailChimp direct integration with the platform.
A strong understanding, and working knowledge of the MailChimp API is essential to this position.
We're currently stuck on a specific problem, where we're trying to trigger an API post based on a Tag being applied in Mailchimp. A review of our process for the API is also a part of this task.
