drop database in old server and upload on new server

I swiched my site from a server to another. It is a magento 2 website.
I tried to export the DB but I get a timeout error. I need some to drop the DB on the server itself and then import it on the new server.
Also I need someone to help me make magento 2 working on new server. Maybe there is the need to change some PHP settings
