Update SDK for Magento Braintree Payment Extension made by Gene Commerce
Budget: $250 – $700 USD
Braintree support suggested that we upgrade our SDK version. They said:
"It's important to note that 3DS2 support requires at least web SDK version 3.52.0. I noticed that your integration is using web SDK version 3.51.0. We highly recommend that you upgrade your SDK to the latest version as we're consistently releasing updates, specifically that pertain to 3D Secure. We're currently at version 3.84.0. I'll defer to Gene Commerce on the steps that you'll need to take to upgrade your SDK version."
I contacted Gene Commerce and they suggested that we update their extension:
"Please update our module to the latest version 4.0.9. You can find the new version here: https://packagist.org/packages/gene/module-braintree

Unfortunately, updating the extension is not an option for us as we have made customizations to it that will break if we just update it as it is with their files. So we need to only update the Braintree SDK version in the existing customized version.
