Synchronize Magento orders and stock with ERP

My customer wants to synchronise orders to the ERP system and synchronise stock updates to Magento. For this we need to develop a Magento extension that is able to do this in a schedule.
Customer has special offers with high number of sales on a short term, we need to make sure that the stock values are always up to date.
